Lake Johnson Score “O” Jan 29, 2012

This event is approved, and everyone is welcome.

In the “Score” format each control is worth points and there is a fixed time limit. For this event, the time limit is 1 HOUR. You find controls in any order and win by the number of points you get.  The more difficult controls are worth more points, from 5 to 30.  Route choice is key because you have to figure out the best order to get the most points without going overtime.  There is a stiff penalty for coming in late: 5 points for every minute between 60:01 and under 69:00, 10 points from 69:01 and later.

We have a beginners and advanced division where the beginners only have to find the easy controls.

The event is approved, starts are from Noon – 2 pm and there will be a beginners class at 12:30.  Even though it is in the “Score” format it is still a “Regular Event” so everyone is welcome and there will be a regular white and yellow course.
