This event is for advanced orienteers (BOK members who have completed a brown, green, or red course). The event is in Birkhead Wilderness Area, Uwharrie National Forest, Asheboro NC. We’ll start from the Birkhead Wilderness Robbins Branch Trailhead (35.589782, -79.947795).
Don’t forget, you must pre-register. There will be Brown, Green and Red courses available. For a change, only a few rock formations will be used for control placement this time.
Ticks are out there – take precaution.
The courses will be opened at noon and everybody must start by 1.30 PM and finish by 3 PM.
Help with controls pick up will be greatly appreciated!
