Orienteering Raleigh NC

Backwoods Orienteering Klub, founded November 15, 1978 sponsors events and teaches orienteering in the North Carolina piedmont, around Raleigh, NC.

We invite you to try orienteering with us. Everyone is welcome at all our events. We always offer beginning, intermediate, advanced and expert courses (routes through the woods) at every Regular event.

Membership is $25 for individuals and $35 for families, and this includes your entry fee to all our “regular”, “sprint”, and “advanced”  events.  The entry includes one map per event for individual members, and two maps for family memberships.   • BOK Donates $2200 to the USA Team

    The accounting for the Sycamore Scramble is finally complete, and we were able to donate $2200 to help send the USA Team to the World University Orienteering Championships. (WUOC)  There were two additional fundraisers for the University Team USA, the radical string “O” and the silent auction, and they raised approximately another $500.
