Have Fun in the Woods Orienteering… with the best maps in the world
Backwoods Orienteering Klub, founded November 15, 1978 sponsors events and teaches orienteering in the North Carolina piedmont, around Raleigh, NC.
We invite you to try orienteering with us. Everyone is welcome at all our events. We always offer beginning, intermediate, advanced and expert courses (routes through the woods) at every Regular event.
There will be two sprint courses (2km and 2.5km) set at Bond Lake Park on May 15. Everybody who is ready to do Orange+ courses is welcome. We will start by the boat house. The start will be opened from noon till 1 PM and everybody is expected to finish by 2 PM. You can run both courses, if you wish.
