The Raven rock Regular Event on December 8, 2013 is approved. Being a Regular event, everyone is welcome and we will have a beginners class at 12:30 and all levels of our courses. Raven Rock State Park is located near Lillington NC, about half way between Raleigh and Fayetteville. The event starts at Noon, and everyone must return to the finish and the course closes at 3pm.
12-04-2013 Update:
From Superintendent Jeffery Davidson,
“We currently have one area heavily flagged with yellow flagging tape for future trail expansion and another area flagged with orange flagging tape for fire lines. There are a few blue flags up also marking some natural resource areas we are monitoring. Make sure not to disturb the flagging tape in these areas. … You will have some areas where you will be crossing the flagged (in yellow) bike route. Please let participants know of this and let them know not to disturb these flags.”
