Results for Schenck Forest, September 10, 2017.

The weather threatened us with downpours and thunderstorms but backed down at the last minute. In spite of the blustering weather forecast, the event had a good turnout. We ended up with a relatively pleasant, overcast day, with a light misting drizzle which only started during control pickup. There were numerous Did Not Finish results…

Friday was a return of the club’s traditional New Year’s Day Relay. This has been an abnormally warm winter, but the day of the event was pleasantly cool. The previous several days of heavy rain gave way to clear conditions for the race, although there was ample water in low lying areas on the course.…
